QED

Approximating the Hypergeometric distribution with the QED

The asymmetric discrete Hypergeometric distribution is usually approximated by the symmetric continuous Normal distribution. An asymmetric fit can be obtained by using a Quartic Exponential distribution. Such a one was constructed using the Stirling approximation that is used to derive the Normal distribution from the Binomial.
